Border Collies are an extremely intelligent , graceful dog born with an to solve problems and work. Border Collies respond very well to to training , agility challenges and are often used as working dogs. Border Collies make loyal  and faithful pets that thrive on human company and stimulation.

This alert, agile breed is incredibly quick, both mentally and physically. Originally in northern England on the border with Scotland to herd and protect a shepherd's sheep. Border Collies relish the chance to learn, and enjoy a challenge.

Border Collies Thrive in active outdoors households where they can be part of their family's activity. They love human contact and being part of that. They also respond well to structure and routine.  

Socialisation is very important, and will generally relate well to other dogs and cats provided they understand they are part of the household. Introducing them to these situations at an early age can assist with this.
