What is ConnectID?
ConnectID®️ is a simple, secure way for individuals to verify their identity using an organisation they already trust, like their bank. ConnectID is part of Australian Payments Plus (AP+) along with BPAY, eftpos, Osko, PayID, PayTo and Beem.
Why do we use ConnectID?
At Doggo, we value transparency. For this reason, all breeders on our site must be verified so that you have peace of mind that you’re talking to a real person.
Breeders won’t be able to reply to messages or interact with buyers unless they have completed this step.
When you see the “Verified with ConnectID” badge on a breeder’s profile, it means the breeder has verified their identity successfully using ConnectID. This secure process ensures that only breeders who have completed their identity verification can connect with buyers. Learn more about ConnectID here.
While this step makes finding a trusted breeder simpler, we still recommend you arrange to either video call with the breeder or visit them in person, when possible, to view your puppy, its parents and their facility.

What is the “Verified Responsible Breeder” badge?
Breeders with this badge have been verified for adhering to our breeder guidelines, developed in line with the standards of associations such as PIAA, MDBA, ANKC and state legislation.
We check things like parent dog health tests, conditions of breeding facilities, where puppies sleep, get exercise and much more, giving you peace of mind when deciding on the right breeder for you.
